Welcome to Twordle, the multi-player version of Wordle! If you don't know how to play Wordle, I suggest playing that game first to learn and then come back here. This uses the same rules for solving puzzles. Some differences are described below
- If you entered the wrong user name, you can change it by tapping on the name in the upper left corner. Names are case sensitive, so 'John' is a different user from 'john'.
- This was designed for me and my girlfriend to play on our phones, so it fits on iPhone XS and iPhone 12 Pro screens. It is not guaranteed to fit on other screens or devices, but hey, it's free to play.
- Choose your opponent from the drop down list. They will appear if they have ever added words to their list.
- You can add words to your list for others to play by entering them where it says 'Enter 5 letter word' and tapping 'Add Word'. If it is a valid word, it will clear the text so you can add more words.
- There is no restriction on whose words you can try to guess, so make sure you know who the user is and that they don't mind if you guess their words. Anyone is free to guess mine (Nhan's). I will add to my list on occasion.
- Once a word has been guessed, it is removed from the list of the user who entered it and cannot be guessed again unless they add it again.
- When you finish a word or want to skip it, tap on 'Next Word' if there are puzzles left. You can always come back by reloading the page.
- Your score is kept track of as long as the page is not reloaded. There is a maximum of 6 points per word. You score more points with fewer guesses.
- A reload resets the score to 0, but you can still see how you've done overall by tapping on the score. It will show you all the words you've guessed as well as the words your current opponent has guessed. The player whose list the word was from is in parentheses.
